CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE JUNIOR OFFICERS LOGISTICS’ COURSE NUMBER 19

Closing Ceremony of Junior Officers Logistics Course, No 19 was held at the Army School of Logistics on 17 July 2023. This memorable occasion was graced by the Commandant ASL, Brigadier HAM Premarathne psc Lsc, Chief instructor, Senior Instructors, Members of the faculty and the permanent staff.

The Junior Officers Logistics Course No 19 commenced on 24th April 2023 and culminated on 17th July 2023. Twenty Junior Officers of the Sri Lanka Army enrolled to follow The course No 19. The award for the First in Order of Merit of Junior Officers Logistics Course No 19 was awarded to Capt MGSJB Meddegedara SLEME.

Delivering the Closing Remarks, the Chief Instructor ASL, Col GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ATO explained the core values of being potential logisticians while highlighting the main objectives of this course is to mold Junior Officers as future logisticians.

The Commandant ASL, HAM Premarathne psc Lsc during his closing address, emphasized that the Student Officers have accomplished the objectives of their course and advised them to continue with improving their professional qualities and wished them well for their future endeavors. The Commandant also expressed his gratitude to the staff lead by the Chief Instructor for their utmost dedication and commitment. He congratulated the Student Officers and wished them for progression and sustained success in their careers.
