LOGISTICS STAFF COURSE NUMBER 9 COMMENCED WITH THE OPENING REMARKS BY THE COMMANDANT

The Logistics Staff Course (LSC) No 9 commenced on 02 January 2023 at the Army School of Logistics. The course is comprised of a total of 34 Student Officers of which 32 from the Sri Lanka Army and 2 from the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Delivering the opening remarks, the Commandant of ASL, Brigadier EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO welcomed the Student Officers while highlighting the importance of following the Logistics Staff Course and emphasized the importance of being inspired with the knowledge of Logistics and Administration.

Further, the Chief Instructor Colonel GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato and Staff Officer 1 (A&Q) Lieutenant Colonel HPL De Alwis USP Lsc conducted the briefing on the course and administration respectively.

Following the Opening Remarks, the Opening Gambit of the LSC No 9 was held to raise alarm at the inauguration of the course which made the Student Officers to realize their positions and the degree of endeavours to be made.
