VISIT TO THE LOGISTICS BATTALIONS IN LOG COMD (E) BY THE JUNIOR OFFICERS’ LOGISTICS COURSE NO 20

As a part of the academic curriculam of the course JOLC No 20 got the opportunity to witness the functions of the logistics battalions at Log Comd (E) on 12 and 13 March 2024. During the visit, the course participants visited 3 ESR, 4 SLASC, 3 SLAOC, 3 SLEME, 2 SLCMP and Army Base Hospital Minneriya.

Throughout the visit all Student Officers had a good interaction with Commanding Officers, relevant appointment holding Officers of the respective logistics battalions and clarified their all doubts on Logistics Supply Systems. It was a great opportunity for them to witness the real time application of theories they learnt during the course.

The Senior Instructor Training Team 2, Lieutenant Colonel NIP Gamage RSP USP psc SLLI, Directing Staff and Student Officers attended in the visit.
