The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Logistics Course No - 21 commenced on 10 Feb 2022 at the Army School of Logistics. The course is scheduled to be terminated on 02 April 2022. For the first time in the history of ASL, 80 Senior Non- Commissioned Officers, representing various Regiments, attended to the opening address held at the auditorium.
The Commandant ASL, Brigadier JARSK Jayasekara USP psc, delivered the opening remarks and explained the importance of learning Logistics for a SNCO, which is needed in improving the future military career as a quartermaster. Further, he spoke about the course curriculum, existing theories/practices of logistics procedures and a study package of English language and IT will be taught.
Later, the Administration functions in ASL and their significance for the SNCOLC were further explained by the Staff Officer I (A/Q), Lt Col KA Ariyawansha psc.
