OFFICERS OF JUNIOR OFFICERS’ LOGISTICS COURSE VISITS NAVAL AND MARITIME ACADEMY

The Student Officers of Junior Officers’ Logistics Course No 20 and Directing Staff led by Lt Col NIP Gamage RSP USP psc Senior Instructor Training Team II, the Senior Instructor Training Team 2 visited Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee on 20 March 2023.

The delegation visited Commodore Superintended of Logistics Department (CSLOGD) East, where the Officers of CSLOGD (E) briefed on the SLN Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), functions of a warehouse (SPDC), Navy apparels, AVCO Area Victualling & Clothing Officer (AVCO) of Eastern Naval Area. As the major element of the event, they were given an exceptional opportunity to visit one of the significant coast guard naval ship "Sayura". They visited the Naval Museum during the evening and were briefed on naval history.

The occasion was marked with an exchange of mementoes between Senior Instructor Training Team 2 to mark the occasion.
