THE NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDANT ASSUMED DUTIES

Brigadier HAM Premarathne psc Lsc assumed duties as the 9th Commandant of the Army School of Logistics on 08 July 2023.

On arrival, he was received by the Chief Instructor, Col GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato and then the Commandant was honoured with a colourful Guard Turnout at the entrance of Army School of Logistics (ASL). Amidst religious rites, the Commandant took over duties in his office. Afterwards, the Commandant appeared for the formal group photograph along with the staff.

Signifying his inauguration of office, the Commandant, planted a sapling of a Mango tree in the camp premises.This followed a troop address and an all-rank tea with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks congratulated the new Commandant on his new appointment.
