CRICKET MATCH OF JUNIOR OFFICERS’ LOGISTICS COURSE NO 19

Army School of Logistics (ASL) being the premier Logistics Training Institution in the Sri Lanka Army is presently conducting the Junior Officers Logistics Course (JOLC) No 19. In order to give much prominence to planning and capacity building activities, the course conducted the Cricket Tournament under the supervision of the Commandant, Brigadier EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO.

The tournament consisted of two teams from JOLC No 19. On 16 June 2023 evening the final match was played at the ASL cricket ground.

Team Avengers of JOLC won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 180 runs in 10 overs. In return team Braves scored only 132 runs in 10 overs. The Team Avengers won the match by 48 runs.

The Best Batsman and Man of the Match was Capt ASS Dharmapriya MI who scored 100 runs. The Best Bowler was Lt IADP Shashika SLAWC by taking two wickets in 2 overs.

Chief Instructor, Senior Instructor Training Team 1, Directing Staff, Permanent Staff and Other Ranks also gathered during the event.
