THE COUNTRY PRESENTATION – LOGISTICS STAFF COURSE NO 09

Sri Lanka Country Presentation was staged on 04 February 2023 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) as the initial presentation of Logistics Staff Course No 9. The main objective of this presentation is to enhance the knowledge of our Motherland to the Foreign Officer from Nepal. The Student Officers displayed true values of Sri Lankan history, culture and traditions through a series of dramatic type presentations including Gama Gedara, Kamatha and Kada Mandiya.

The Commandant of the ASL, Brigadier Menaka Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest for the event and Major Aditya Pratap Singh of Nepali Army was the Guest Honour. The Chief Instructor, Members of the Faculty, Permanent Staff of ASL, Local Student Officers and the foreign Student Officer present for the occasion. This country presentation was concluded with a delicious dinner arranged elegantly on the theme of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine at the Officers Mess at the ASL.
