COUNTRY PRESENTATION OF LOGISTICS STAFF COURSE 12 – EXPLORATION OF NATIONAL IDENTITY AND GLOBAL PRESENCE

The Country Presentation of the Logistics Staff Course 12 (LSC 12) was conducted on 23 February 2026 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) as a core curricular activity for student officers. It is designed to enhance cultural exchanging prospectus including cultural understanding and international cooperation among the student officers. The Commandant of ASL Brigadier DIS Jayasinghe ndc psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the foreign student officers of LSC 12, Major Asifur Rahman psc of Bangladesh Army and Major Sachin Bhardwaj of Indian Army attended as the Guests of Honour.

The presentation aims to foster international relations among course participants while building confidence in public speaking and improving organizational capabilities.

The Chief Gust, the Guests of Honour, the Chief Instructor and the members of the Faculty were welcomed by a troop of cultural dancers dressed in traditional dancing costumes.

The country presentation on Sri Lanka contained detailed information about geography, socio-economic status, culture and history. The presentation concluded with a delightful dinner that vividly displayed the richness of traditional local cuisine.
