ASL UPHOLDS NEW YEAR TRADITIONS WITH THE DISTRIBUTION OF ESSENTIAL GOODS AMONG THE CIVIL STAFF
In keeping with long-standing customs, the Army School of Logistics (ASL) organized the distribution of essential goods to the civil staff on 07 April 2026, in view of the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year. This annual initiative reflects the institution’s continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of its civil workforce, recognizing their valuable contribution to the effective functioning of the establishment.
The programme was conducted under the guidance and close supervision of the Commandant, Brigadier DIS Jayasinghe ndc psc. His leadership ensured the smooth planning and execution of the distribution process, maintaining both efficiency and fairness while upholding the spirit of the festive season.
