The Junior Officers Logistics Course (JOLC) No 20 commenced on 08 January 2024 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL). The course is comprised of 15 Student Officers from the Sri Lanka Army.
The occasion was graced by the Commandant, Colonel RT Lokuthotahewa USP psc. At the outset, the Commandant addressed the course participants and extended his best wishes for being selected to follow the JOLC which educate and train Officers in basic techniques and functions in the fields of logistics and administration at the Junior Officers' level.
Further, the Chief Instructor Colonel DMMC Wijerathna Lsc and Staff Officer 1 (A&Q) Lieutenant Colonel AMCM Alahakoon SLASC conducted the briefing on the course and administration respectively. Following the opening address the reference materials and book packs were also distributed.
In the evening the “ICE BREAKER” of JOLC No 20 was held at the Officers Mess.
The event created a platform for the Student Officers to interact with the Directing Staff and Permanent Staff. The Commandant Colonel RT Lokuthotahewa USP psc graced the occasion and welcomed Student Officers to the event.
It was an enjoyable and memorable evening to all and this followed a delicious dinner.
