THE ARMY SCHOOL OF LOGISTICS WELCOMES THE JUNIOR OFFICERS LOGISTICS COURSE NUMBER 19

The Junior Officers Logistics Course (JOLC) No 19 marked its commencement on 24 April 2023 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL). The course is comprised of 20 Student Officers from the Sri Lanka Army.

The occasion was graced by the Commandant, Brigadier EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO. At the outset, the Commandant addressed the course participants and extended his best wishes for being selected to follow the JOLC which educate and train Officers in basic techniques and functions in the fields of logistics and administration at the Junior Officers' level.

Further, the Chief Instructor Colonel GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato and Staff Officer 1 (A&Q) Lieutenant Colonel HPL De Alwis USP Lsc conducted the briefing on the course and administration respectively. Following the opening address the reference materials and book packs were also distributed.

In the evening the “ICE BREAKER” session of JOLC No 19 was held at the Officers Mess.

The event created a platform for the Student Officers to interact with the Directing Staff and Permanent Staff. The Commandant Brigadier EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO graced the occasion and welcomed Student Officers to the event.

It was an enjoyable and memorable evening to all and this followed a delicious dinner.
