ARMY SCHOOL OF LOGISTICS MARKS ITS FIRST DAY IN THE NEW YEAR - 2023

The commencement of work year - 2023 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) got a brief festive start on 02 January 2023.The Commandant of ASL Brigadier EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO and Chief Instructor Colonel GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato were invited to set off the day’s programme by hoisting the National flag and the ASL flag respectively. The event consisted of the singing of the National Anthem and paying tribute to the fallen War Heroes by observing a two-minute silence. The day’s sequence reached its apex by reading aloud the State Allegiance Oath and the message of the Commander of the Army on the New Year-2023.

Staff Officer 1 (A&Q), Senior Instructors, Members of the Faculty, Members of the Permanent Staff including the Student Officers of the Logistics Staff Course No 09, Other Ranks and Civil Servants serving the ASL were present during the ceremony.
