The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) organized a Children's Day event at the Regimental Centre in Ambepussa on 12 October 2024. This initiative was led by Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, the Chairperson of SLSR-SVB.
Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The event included a variety of enjoyable activities and competitions, along with the distribution of gift parcels to the children. Additionally, coconut plants were distributed to promote environmental awareness among the children.
The occasion saw participation from Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and children.
