NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER ARMOURED BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier A P C R Premathilaka RSP USP ndc, the newly appointed Commander Armoured Brigade assumed duties on Tuesday, 05 Nov 2024 at the Headquarters Armoured Brigade - Rock House Camp amidst a simple ceremony.

He endorsed his acceptance of new responsibilities, by signing an official document amid the religious blessings. During the troop address, he outlined his vision for the smooth functioning of the Brigade through coordinated teamwork, discipline, and services rendered in accordance with army rules and regulations. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to further develop and maintain the highest cavalry standards at all times. He humbly extended his gratitude to all past cavalrymen who dedicated themselves to uplifting the standards of the Corps.

Marking the end of the day’s event, the new commander visited all the branches, sections and the camp premises of the Headquarters Armoured Brigade with his staff.
