Provost Ladies Donate Dry Ration Packs for Pregnant Women

Mrs Inoka Ilangakoon, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP-SVB) launched a donation of dry ration packs and nutrients for deserving pregnant women with the cooperation of Major General Anil Ilangakoon, Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP and Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu on Tuesday (8).

The beneficiaries were selected from low-income group families in the areas served by Kankesanthurai-based 4 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police troops.

10 dry ration packs, each worth, Rs. 6,750 were distributed during the brief event. Participants were also entertained to a delicious lunch at the same occasion.

Major K.N. Indrajith, Commanding Officer, 4 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police supervised the event and made his troops to organize the brief programme.
