A programme to distribute dry ration packs and school accessories among civil employees of the Army and their children got underway on Thursday (30 March) at 1 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) auditorium at Panagoda on account of the New Year.
A group of 37 civil employees serving the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) received those incentives during the brief ceremony, attended by Mrs. Thushari Wanigasekara, Chairperson, SLASC-Seva Vanitha Branch. ,
This programme was conducted under the guidance of the Centre Commandant, Brigadier H.A.M Premarathne and the Commanding Officer of the 1 SLASC, Lieutenant Colonel G.K.V Dharmasena. All the participants were entetained to a musical show and a sumptuous dinner before arrangements ended.
Senior members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this occasion.
