The new Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC-SVU), Mrs Sashika Herath took over duties on 12 June 2022 during a simple ceremony at the SLSC Regimental HQ.
Subsequently, the monthly meeting for the month of June 2022 was also held at the Officers' Mess with the participation of 40 members of the SLSC-SVU where future projects, expected to be conducted in the coming months.
The Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps Major General Lalith Herath, Director, Information Technology Brigadier Sajith Liyanage, Commander, Signal Brigade, Brigadier Imal Assalarachchi, Centre Commandant Brigadier Sudantha Fonseka, Deputy Centre Commandant, Colonel H.D.J.P Weerathunga participated in the event.
