A group of ladies of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) undertook a tour to the Pangolla ‘Abimansala 3’ with a view to looking into the well-being of resident War Heroes at this wellness resort on Monday (7).
Mrs. Ruvini Lamahewa, Chairperson, GW-SVB led the team of Seva Vanitha ladies to the location where they interacted with those differently able War Heroes.
The ladies interacted with those resident War Heroes and awarded gift parcels before they joined refreshments. The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch during their visit donated 50 sets of cups and saucers to the wellness resort and inquired into their needs before departure.
Mr. Ruvini Lamahewa, Chairperson, Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch, Colonel Aruna Wijegunawardana, Commandant at ‘Abhimansala 3’ - Pangolla, members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, and several other senior Officers participated in the event.
