With the guidance of Mrs Nilanthi Wanasinghe the Chairperson of the Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR SVB) along with all members, a cleaning/ almsgiving and donation programme was conducted at Sri Jinarathana Child Care Centre - Dambulla which is administrated by Dambulla Raja Maha Viharaya on 12 October 2024 coinciding with the 75 Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army and World Children's Day.
In addition, an entertainment programme and lunch also provided to 30 Children's at the Child Care Centre. Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment Maj Gen W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP and the Centre Commandant Brigadier A K Peiris RSP, the programme was concluded successfully. Municipal Council Dambulla has also given their assistance and contributed for the cleaning programme.
