TROOPS OF GEMUNU REGIMENT CONDUCTED ROAD CLEANING PROGRAMME

With the participation of the troops of the Gemunu Watch and local community of the Kahengama general area, conducted over 2000 meters of road cleaning and conducted cleaning programme at Kahengama Sri Vidyaloka Piriven on 04 January 2025. Further restored drainage system at Edandawala junction up to the Regimental Centre on same day. The initiative was taken by troops of Regimental Centre the Gemunu Watch under the guidance and participation of Colonel of the Regiment Major General WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP and Centre Commandant the Gemunu Watch. The villagers highly appreciated the prompt action taken by troops of Gemunu Watch.
