The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers’ (SNCOs’) Leadership and Career Development Course No. 57, conducted by the Combat Training School (CTS), Ampara, concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony on 28 October 2025.
Among the 41 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers representing various regiments, Sergeant A.A. Dinesh Kumara of the 23rd Battalion, The Gemunu Watch, brought exceptional pride to the Highlanders by being adjudged the Best Student of the course.
His outstanding performance, dedication, and exemplary leadership qualities not only elevated the prestige of the course but also highlighted the unwavering professionalism and discipline upheld by The Gemunu Watch. The achievement stands as a testament to the Regiment’s commitment to producing highly capable and result-driven leaders.
