PROUD CONTRIBUTION BY THE 12TH BATTALION THE GEMUNU WATCH TROOPS

A blood donation programme was successfully held on 12 November 2025 at DamminnaMahaVidyalaya, situated in the Damminna area under the Dimbulagala Divisional Secretariat.

The event was proudly organized and conducted by Major ACW Gunasekara RSP, Commanding Officer of the 12th Battalion, The Gemunu Watch, together with his dedicated troops. Their unwavering commitment and sense of duty ensured the programme was executed with exceptional coordination and discipline, reflecting the proud traditions of the Gemunu Watch.

The initiative was further strengthened by the generous support of the National Blood Transfusion Service, while the civilians of the 239 Alavakumbura GN Division also joined hands, making this humanitarian effort a truly community-driven success.

This noble act once again showcased the selfless service, compassion, and steadfast dedication of the Gemunu Watch in contributing to the well-being of the nation.
