PROUD ACHIEVEMENT BY THE GEMUNU WATCH AT THE INTER-REGIMENT TAEKWONDO TOURNAMENT

The Inter-Regiment Taekwondo Tournament was held on 13 and 14 November 2025 at Panagoda, bringing together the finest martial artists from across the Sri Lanka Army. In this highly competitive event, The Gemunu Watch Regiment delivered an outstanding performance, securing an impressive 3rd Place Overalla testament to their discipline, determination, and fighting spirit.

Showcasing remarkable skill and dedication, the athletes of The Gemunu Watch earned two Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals during the tournament. Adding further prestige to their achievement, the team proudly claimed one Gold Medal in the Poomsae event, highlighting their excellence in both combat and technical categories.

This accomplishment once again reflects the unwavering commitment, perseverance, and competitive strength of The Gemunu Watch, bringing pride to the regiment and demonstrating their ability to excel not only on the battlefield but also in sporting arenas of national significance.
