The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch held its monthly meeting on 08 February 2025 at the Regimental Centre, led by its president, Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne.
During the meeting, members reviewed ongoing projects and discussed plans to further support the families of GW officers and soldiers.
In a generous act of support, Mr. Chaminda Senarathne - Operations Manager,Browns Agriculture Company pvt ltd donated two wheelchairs for the use of soldiers with battle injuries, demonstrating his commitment to their well-being.
As part of its dedication to education, the Seva Vanitha Branch also distributed essential stationery packs to 85 children who had successfully passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
These thoughtfully assembled packs contained various school supplies to assist the children in their studies, reinforcing the branch's commitment to the well-being of GW families and empowering the younger generation for future success.
