The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch organized a mind relaxation musical program in conjunction with International Women's Day celebrations for the disabled war heroes of the Gemunu Watch. The program aimed to promote mental relaxation and uplift the spirits of the soldiers. The event was patronized by Deputy Defense Minister Major General K.P.A Jayasekara (Retd) WWV RSP VSV USP ndc psc and his spouse Mrs. Sujeewa Jayasekara, with an invitation extended by the President of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch, Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalarathne, and its members.
After the program, a special interaction session was held by the Deputy Defense Minister with the disabled soldiers, followed by tea. The event was attended by the Colonel of the Regiment, Centre Commandant, senior officers, officers, and other ranks.
