The Director General Infantry and The Colonel of the Regiment the Gemunu Watch Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP and Dr. (Mrs) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, participated in a dry ration distribution programme at 12th Battalion the Gemunu Watch on 19th July 2025 with the invitation of the Commanding Officer of 12th Battalion the Gemunu Watch Lieutenant Colonel GS Ranasinghe RWP RSP USP.
During the event dry ration packs were given to 15 soldiers and 05 civil employees who are serving at the Battalion to ease the hardship and strengthen their wellbeing as well.
