Donation Programme for Gemunu Ranaviru Families at 2(V) GW - Galle

On 19th October 2024, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Gemunu Watch (GW) hosted a donation programme to support the families of Gemunu Ranaviru. The event was chaired by Mrs. Manori Welagedra, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, and attended by members of the branch. During the event, various forms of assistance were provided, including:

• 11 medical donations for eleven Ranviru family members
• 2 scholarships for two students who achieved 9 A’s and 8 A’s in the O/L exam-2023
• 2 dry ration packs for needy families
• 15 school item packs for Students

The total value of the donations amounted to Rs. 350,000.

This initiative was sponsored by the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch, alongside generous contributions from donors and support from the 4GW, 9GW, 2(V)GW, and 3(V)GW battalions.
