In support of the President’s national initiative, ‘Clean Sri Lanka’, a comprehensive Nilwala River cleaning programme was conducted under the theme ‘Save Nilwala’ from 20 October 2025 to 11 November 2025.
Demonstrating unwavering commitment to environmental protection and civic responsibility, 01 x 15 personnel from the 3 (V) Gemunu Watch participated daily throughout the programme. Their sustained efforts played a vital role in restoring the cleanliness of the riverbank and enhancing public awareness on environmental conservation.
The professionalism, dedication, and community-focused service of the 3(V) Gemunu Watch troops reflect the Regiment’s continued devotion to safeguarding not only the nation but also its natural resources.
