ADORNING OF INSIGNIA PARADE, CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY AND THE GUEST NIGHT OF QUARTERMASTERS COMMISSIONING COURSE NUMBER 07

Adoring of insignia Parade of the Quartermasters Commissioning Course No 07 was grandiosely held on 02 April 2025 at the Gymnasium, Army School of Logistics (ASL) promoting 99 Warrant Officers to the Rank of Probationary Quartermasters of the Sri Lanka Army. The Chief Guest of the parade, the Commandant Army School of Logistics Brigadier RT Lokuthotahewa USP psc was warmly welcomed by the Chief Instructor Colonel D M M C Wijerathne Lsc after he was greeted in a Guard Turnout at the entrance. After the adornment of the insignia the commandant and the permanent staff appeared for a group photograph with the newly promoted Probationary Quartermasters at the photo arena.

Followed by the group photograph, the certificate awarding ceremony was glamorously held at the Lecture Hall No.02. The ceremony was graced by the Commandant ASL. The newly promoted received their certificates from the Commandant. Probationary Officer BN Priyantha Kumara USP SLAOC secured the first in order of merit of the Quartermasters Commissioning Course No 07. Subsequently, Probationary Officer RMPK Rathnayake SLAGSC secured the second in order of merit and DAMK Disanayake SLSR secured third in order of merit. At the end of the certificate awarding ceremony, the Commandant addressed the newly promoted probationary officers in praise of their achievement and the commitment of the faculty members and the permanent staff of ASL.

Later in the day, a guest night has been organized to welcome the newly promoted Probationary Quartermasters to the Officers Mess. The Commandant, Senior Officers and the Officers of ASL warmly welcomed the newly promoted Probationary Officers to the Officers’ Mess. It had been a joyous evening.
